Myofunctional Therapist 

Fabiola joined AKD in October 2014. Fabiola was a Medical Laboratory technologist for many years in Colombia, Australia and Canada and decided to change her pathway and learn about Orofacial Myofunctional therapy. Fabiola went to study initially with Joy Moller in the US and after with Sandra Coulson. Fabiola took Patrick Mckeown’s Buteyko training in 2016 and took the Buteyko certification course in 2021. She continued her Orofacial Myology training by getting a Specialist certification from the Graduate School of Behavioural Health Sciences in Cheyenne Wyoming in 2019. Fabiola loves to interact and help guide our young patients with her skill set in the Early Interceptive Orthodontic Program at AKD.   

Fabiola is the mother of two grown boys and loves spending time with her 2-year-old granddaughter. Fabiola also enjoys doing her crafts, reading, and spending time in the garden.
